“As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live.”
(Pope St. John Paul II, November 30, 1986)
Once monthly on a Sunday, the entire family will gather for the 9:30 Mass, followed by a light breakfast and interactive formation in a faith topic. Parents will meet as a group while the children enjoy their own grade-level appropriate experience with a catechist. Childcare for your little ones is provided! Coming together as one to conclude the morning experience of worship, formation, and community, families will take home three topics to complete together in the course of the month. These topics are related to the subject matter the parents just explored together.
Once-Monthly Parish Sessions
For Children in Grades 1, 3-6, During Parent's Formation Experience
Grades 1, 3-6 will explore the same topic the parents are, but at their grade level.
For Children in Grade 2 Preparing for First Reconciliation & Holy Communion, During Parent's Formation Experience
Children preparing for these Sacraments will explore topics to help them prepare to receive them, instead of the usual monthly topics.
NOTE: At home, parents need only spend 15 minutes per week exploring topics that help prepare their child for the Sacraments. Separate booklets are provided for this.
Sign up for your First Communion Mass, review dress code, parent-child session times, & discover when the class photo shoot is held.
For Children in Grades 7 & 8, During Parent's Formation Experience
Over the course of two years, those in grades 7 & 8 will take a comprehensive journey through the Catholic Faith, being progressively called to a personal encounter with Jesus.
NOTE: Grades 7 & 8 get involved in on-site and off-site Christian Service experiences. Click here for details and to sign up.
