Service to others is a vital part of Confirmation Preparation. These hours of service lay the groundwork for teens to experience love for others through the eyes of Jesus. By allowing them to be Christ's hands and feet, we also empower them to continue that work in the Church, their homes, and the community. Please complete and submit the “Christian Service Form” for each event.
Please know that students in both years of Confirmation Preparation are encouraged to participate. Below are the requirements for those preparing for the sacrament in the Spring: 1. At least one of the Holiday Food Assembly events. 2. Participate in at least two of the Fish Dinner shifts. 3. Sign up for a hour shift at the Parish Harvest Festival in August 4. Attend Offsite Service Event: Mandatory Service Event 3/14/26 Day of Service 10am-Noon St. Aloysius Catholic Parish 1234 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226 ** We will be serving outside, dress for the weather |
